One of the questions that people will readily ask of me is: Where do you think reggae(i.e the music) , is heading?
For those who may know some truths about this message music, and have come to like it for whatever reason, this is a question that they can answer for themselves. For the light of truth dwells within each man to either accept or to reject.
You can have those who will criticize, ostracize, cynicise, or even philosophize, about anyone or anything, but Jah truth will never change.
When I say Jah truth, an example that is readily seen or understood by most is this: The sun is always shining whether you can see it or not. The rain is either falling or it is not. Things of truth which you can deny or accept will not change because of your feelings about them, or about the messengers who delivers them. I may not like the post man, but I like the mail he delivers to me. Jah truth never changes. it is the same, yesterday, today, and forever!
Sometimes one has to know just where to look to find what they need.
In today's world of mass communication and flow of information/misinformation powered by the technology, truth can be hidden in places where you would have to know how to find it and bring it to the surface in revelation. A mirage may look true from a distance until you finally reach the spot.
With so many deceptions in the struggle of good over evil, it is easy for some to get totally lost in the fight. A most beautiful plant may be a deadly and dangerous plant. Black ice may be on the road, but if you continue speeding you will find the truth for yourself as to its presence and consequences.
The attackers of reggae truths as revealed by the messengers of the music will never end. Jah spiritual truths will become like wax melting in the fire. Jah truth burns the evil intentions of the wicked. The universal struggle will always be- that of good over evil, and good will prevail.
Mis-educating, mis-informing, mis-conceptions and deceptions rules the pillars of evil men, but reggae is like a small axe which cuts down a large tree.
So much has been unleashed unto the internet that those who have no recourse to finding truth will remain forever in the darkness of deceptions.
Reggae has been showing the youths where and how to find Jah truth. Those who listen and learn will know how to. Those who want others to bring it to them on a platter may never know how to partake of it.
To a generation born but misinformed, I must ask: where have you been looking? Whom have you been following? Reggae is not like twitter. Reggae is the truth of Jah light which when shining on you makes you glitter. It makes you fitter in the fight of good over evil.
In all my works and my writings I have brought you truth about the matters which I address. There has been no attempt to sugar coat, deceive, or mislead anyone as to the facts that I described on the issues I discuss and share with those who care to learn.
This is the year 2013- and class is dismissed. Those who fail to graduate will have to deal with their own fate. I have spoken, the reggae messengers have spoken, Jah truths have been sent to the peoples all over the world. Those who cared not to learn will only have to wait and see how Jah fire will continue to burn.
